Gamers might also get a pre-order bonus linked to it

The development team at BioWare and publisher Electronic Arts have offered a lot of details about both the story and the core gameplay mechanics of Dragon Age: Inquisition recently, but it seems that at least one more major reveal is set to take place later in the month.

A Russian site claims to have gained access to some core files about the title on Origin and has managed to find an image that suggests that the two companies might be ready to announce that the role-playing game will support a full cooperative multiplayer experience.

The image seems genuine and has the same style as the other content that was revealed so far for Dragon Age: Inquisition, but there’s no way to know if it is real or just a very well-crafted fake.

BioWare has not offered any confirmation or denial on the issue, but the tone of its Twitter reply to a fan question seems to suggest that something related to cooperative play is being implemented in the title.

Discussion on the official forum of the role-playing game also shows that the fan community believes multiplayer will be introduced to the series, and apparently at least one new pre-order bonus, which might be announced in August, will be linked to the new set of mechanics.

It would be interesting to see whether gamers who cooperate in Dragon Age: Inquisition will be able to both use their created characters or if one of them will have to work as one of the announced party members.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will take gamers to a variety of locations across the world as they try to find the cause of a major breach in the Fade and stop the flow of demons into the world of men.

A new Gamescom 2014 trailer shows a powerful entity that gamers will also have to deal with and a live demo reveals the way the strategic map can be used to gather resources and find new allies.

The game is designed to employ classic party-based mechanics and will allow gamers to use both a tactical and an action-driven mode for the battles.

BioWare says that the new game uses the best possible elements from the first title, Origins, and from Dragon Age 2.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be launched on the PC, the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the Xbox One from Microsoft, and last-gen consoles on November 18 of this year.
