Constant disconnection and slow Internet ruin the experience

Dragon Age: Inquisition is one of the best games launched in 2014, there’s no doubt about it. Obviously, we’re talking about the single-player experience, which should offer more than 40 hours of gameplay on a standard playthrough.

However, Bioware thought it would be nice to release a multiplayer mode as well, in which up to four players must defeat waves of enemies that are taken from the story-mode.

Nothing wrong here, on the contrary, as having another Mass Effect 3 multiplayer clone set in a fantasy world provides players with more variety.

Given the fact that Mass Effect 3 multiplayer hasn’t been updated in a very long time and no weekly events have been announced in a long time, one would think that Bioware is completely focused on making Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer at least decent to play.

Bioware introduced the weekend events for Dragon Age: Inquisition for about two weeks now to make things more fun for players and make them play more in order to achieve goals that would reward them free stuff.

We’ve spent fairly enough time playing Dragon Age: Inquisition’s multiplayer mode, and apart from the awkward movement mechanics, we found it pretty solid.

Unfortunately, the last couple of days were pretty much a nightmare for those who wanted to complete the multiplayer event announced by Bioware last Friday.

The multiplayer aspect is solid, but it's plagued by lots of technical issues

Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer wasn’t a perfect game before, but as of lately it’s very hard to get into a game. 3 connection attempts out of 4 end up in error messages.

After each failed attempt, you need to wait for a few loading screens in order to try connecting to a game once again. If that happens 2-3 times each time you want to play a multiplayer session, it completely ruins the experience and many players will give up on Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer.

Then there are some matchmaking issues, like for example the host has a very slow Internet connection and everyone is lagging during the game. Besides the fact that in most cases it prevents you from successfully completing an operation, it’s incredibly annoying.

We’re not even sure that this might be the real cause of the issue, but bottom line is these things shouldn’t happen in a relatively new game.

What’s worse is the fact that these problems happen very often lately. Have you experienced any of these issues in the last week or so? What other problems have you noticed?
