A deadly, frightening demo has been released thanks to Ascaron Entertainment and 93 Games - the demo for Dracula: Origin, the classic point and click adventure that is due to be released on the 6th of June this year. And getting your chance to try the game just days before its launch is even better than receiving it a month before: this way, you'll be able to continue your quest without losing precious time. If you like the title, of course.

In the game, you will be the well-known Professor Van Helsing and you'll begin your quest after you get a message from a friend who found both Count Dracula and his castle, but unfortunately died trying to kill the vampire leader. After some quick investigations, you will discover that Dracula is in London, somewhere close to you, searching for an antediluvian manuscript containing the details of a strange rite that allows to bring the damned back to Earth and the Count plans to use it in order to resurrect his beloved one.

And this is the moment when you begin your adventure, in a classic point and click way. So, get ready to travel to different places, from London to Cairo, Vienna and, eventually, back to the place where everything started: Transylvania. It's a journey that will not progress to its natural end but rather to its origin, that of Dracula and Evil...

The released demo (which can be downloaded here) will first have you make sure that beautiful Mina, Count Dracula's love interest, is safe. Then, you will have to retrace Dracula's sinful steps through the heart of London, which is terrorized by the Prince. You will eventually travel to a spooky cemetery and become the prey. Or the hunter. It's up to you and how you play the game!
