WiiWare gets two new members

With the release of the WiiWare service, it is only a matter of time until we get to see tons of great games available for download, but for now, we have no other option than to accept some mediocre updates. Some might still say that it is much better than nothing and they might have a point. Even more, one of the new two titles added to the WiiWare will probably suit Mario fans really well - and we all know how many fans Mario has...

So, without wasting any more of your precious time, let's see the two titles that are available right now in the United States on WiiWare:

First, Nintendo comes up with Dr. Mario Online Rx, a game that has only one common thing with the Italian plumber, though: his picture in a corner of your screen. Otherwise, Dr. Mario Online Rx is nothing but a bit modified tetris game you'll have to pay 1,000 Wii Points ($10) for. If you check the official description of the game, you'll find out that Mario actually "takes a break from his adventuring ways and once again dons his stethoscope for a new generation of germ-battling mayhem". They have an excuse for everything!

Still, the game would definitely not be a complete waste of time, since it comes with some really nice and fun multiplayer options, where up to four players can compete against one another or play together in the co-op modes. After all, it's up to you to decide whether it deserves your money or not.

And you have another option in case Dr. Mario Online Rx was not what you were looking for (or just in case you simply want more games): this is Family Table Tennis and only costs 500 Wii Points ($5). Basically a Wii Sports-like tennis game, this title comes with different graphics, versus and single player mod, as well as three fun minigames. Best to be played with another real person, it could prove really fun.
