Store up to 6,000 pages on the Go or upgrade it with an SD card

Doxie has been making interesting scanners for quite some time now, but almost all of them pale in comparison with the Doxie Go that was announced just a short while ago and enables users to create searchable PDFs from their documents without going through a PC.

All you have to do is send your document through the Doxie Go and the device will scan it and save a copy in its built-in memory capable of storing up to 6,000 pages, which can also be upgraded by adding an SD card or an USB dongle to the scanner.

The documents scanned by Doxie's creation are automatically fed through an OCR software right on the device and turned into searchable PDFs, which can be then synced with your Mac or Windows machine.

If mobility is what you are looking for, the Doxie Go can also be configured to sync with your iPhone, iPad or send the documents straight to Dropbox, Evernote or Google Docs via a software app.

The scanner is on pre-order right now with a $199 (144 Euros) price tag and it'll start shipping in late November.
