Yes, it is that time of the month again for Microsoft. And the Redmond company has ended 2007 with a security run dignified of an apotheosis. On December 11th`, 2007, a date synonymous with Microsoft's Patch Tuesday, the monthly patch cycle brought with it fixes for no less than 11 vulnerabilities. A total of seven security bulletins have been issued this month patching Critical holes in products, such as Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 7.

Concomitantly with the availability of the security bulletins and the patches' release via the Windows Update infrastructure, Microsoft also kept up with another tradition that involves making the fixes available as an ISO image. On the heels of the bulletins, the company also dropped the December 2007 Security Releases ISO Image. Via this resource end users will be able to benefit from all the security updates impacting the Windows platform this month.

"This DVD5 ISO image file contains the security updates for Windows released on Windows Update on December 11th, 2007. The image does not contain security updates for other Microsoft products. This DVD5 ISO image is intended for administrators that need to download multiple individual language versions of each security update and that do not use an automated solution such as Windows Server Update Services (WSUS). You can use this ISO image to download multiple updates in all languages at the same time", Microsoft informed.

The ISO contains all the security bulletins released on December 11, as they all address vulnerabilities affecting the Windows operating system, or default components of the client. The 2304.8 MB ISO image features MS07-063; MS07-064; MS07-065; MS07-066; MS07-067; MS07-068 and MS07-069.
