As you might remember from our previous article on this specific topic, AMD has decided that it was about time to revamp its Catalyst Control Center (much to the joy of many AMD and ATI GPU owners out there), and now, the new application is finally up for download.

For the time being, the revamped Catalyst Control Center will be available as a separate download, as a part of a software package called AMD Catalyst 10.12 Preview for Windows 7, meant to offer users a glimpse of what they can expect from future Catalyst drivers, released starting with 2011.

So, as the name says, only users running Microsoft's Windows 7 operating system will be able to benefit from this offering, and if you're interested to see for yourselves what the revamped driver is all about, you can download it from right here, on Softpedia.

According to AMD, the brand-new Catalyst control center will enable a simplified user experience to help owners get the most out of their AMD product, easily enable 3D settings to enhance game image quality, setup multiple displays to increase productivity and also adjust power settings to increase battery life.

Furthermore, the chip manufacturer informs us that the new AMD Catalyst Control Center is now more intuitive, with a task-based discovery model and leveraging familiar user-interface concepts from Web browsers such as a navigation bar and search field.

In fact, the addition of quick navigation features and resizable interface, plus the inclusion of presets and "one-click" access to any setting, make for a more efficient user experience.

Furthermore, AMD also touted that the fact that they'll be setting up an AMD Catalyst 10.12 Preview forum, letting users express express their opinions on the brand new Catalyst Control Center and provide the company with some important feedback on what they can/should do in order to further improve the overall user experience provided by the AMD software, and we're really, really curious to getting some feedback via this outlet as well.
