The immensely popular Infinity Blade II has been updated to version 1.2, which brings a truckload of new content in the new Vault of Tears episode. It delves further into the mysterious past of Siris, as new areas are unlocked and major secrets are revealed.

Infinity Blade II: Vault of Tears plunges players into battle against new enemies like the Moss Golem, Lupun, Dark Fiend, Bog Giant, Acolyte, and more. Players can now find their hidden allies and discover secret items and rewards with a new Treasure Map feature.

There are more than 50 new items included in this update. Highlights named by Chair Entertainment Group include magic rings, weapons, shields, helmets, and armor. These are collectable, but they can also be sold.

“Additional surprises await you with new Achievements, unique gems to forge, ClashMob updates, more,” says Chair, adding that “a third action-packed Infinity Blade II content update is on the horizon, with even more surprises.”

The new downloadable content would be revealed soon, says Chair. The studio also offers this teaser: “The Worker of Secrets isn't the only person locked away in the tower... and a relic from the distant past comes to light! Coming soon to Infinity Blade II – for free!”

Infinity Blade II is powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine, “the definitive visual experience in mobile gaming, complete with all-new iCloud support and HDMI output,” according to its developers.

iOS customers can play the universal Infinity Blade game on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad, iPad 2, the third-generation iPad, iPod touch 3rd-gen (16 GB and above), or iPod touch 4th-gen, with a single download. Chair highly recommends that players upgrade their device to the latest iOS version for the best experience.
