Microsoft has updated the resources designed to allow early adopters leveraging the next generation of its development platform and tools to embrace the upcoming technologies. In this regard, Beta testers running the pre-release Builds of Visual Studio 2010 and .Net Framework 4, can now download the free Training Kit associated with the two releases, which was refreshed on January 11th, 2010. The Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4 Training Kit - January 2010 release can be grabbed at no charge via the Microsoft Download Center.

“The Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4 Training Kit includes presentations, hands-on labs, and demos. This content is designed to help you learn how to utilize the Visual Studio 2010 features and a variety of framework technologies,” Microsoft revealed.

According to the software giant, the January 2010 release of the Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4 Training Kit is designed to integrate seamlessly with Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2 and .NET Framework 4 Beta 2. Microsoft made available the second Beta development milestone of Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4 in the second half of October 2009. The January refresh of the training Kit offered by the Redmond company is focused on the following framework technologies: C# 4.0, Visual Basic 10, F#, Parallel Extensions, Windows Communication Foundation, Windows Workflow, Windows Presentation Foundation, ASP.NET 4, Windows 7, Entity Framework, ADO.NET Data Services, Managed Extensibility Framework, and Visual Studio Team System.

Come next month, Microsoft will offer testers yet another development milestone release of both Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4. The company plans to deliver the Release Candidate Build of the successors of Visual Studio 2008 and .NET Framework 3.5 in February 2010 in order to allow early adopters to test some performance improvements in the next version of VS. In this regard, Microsoft also revealed that it would push back the initially announced general availability deadline a few weeks. Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4 were supposed to be launched on March 22nd, 2010.
