14 DAY TRIAL // Apple seemingly has no problem with apps that use Steve Jobs’ face for their icon, ‘Steve Jobs Quotes and Trivia’ being the second such app seen approved in the App Store this year.
Although Apple has gone to great lengths to ban the sale of Steve Jobs action figures, the company seems at peace with developers bringing tributes to the former CEO in the form of iPhone applications.
The first one we spotted this year using a geniuine photo of the man for its icon was Sir Steve Jobs, By George Harjani.
The latest one, Steve Jobs Quotes and Trivia by Carlos Gomes, actually uses the best known photo of the ex Apple chief - the one Apple’s own PR site uses.
The app features loads of photos, a small biography of the man (by the way, the official one just got 208 extra pages), famous quotes, and a trivia.
