14 DAY TRIAL // Shazam Entertainment Ltd. has announced a major new update to its popular media discovery application for iPhone and iPod touch, adding fast tagging and recognition, easy identification of Shazam-enabled television shows and advertising, and more.
With this new version, content such as music and Shazam-enabled stuff can be identified in as little as one second, said the developers.
The update includes a newly designed user interface, improvements to its social ties (sharing in particular), and more. The full change log can be found below:

Although this addition is not mentioned in the release notes, Shazam 5.0 supports a bunch of new languages, such as Brazilian Portuguese, Korean and Spanish for South America. The service now supports 33 languages in total.
Also worth noting is that all versions of Shazam for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch come with unlimited tagging, which allows users to engage with music and television content in an unlimited number of ways.
