Last year, Microsoft has made a series of changes to the Windows Azure and SQL Server offerings, and has now delivered documentation on the new products.

Developers interested in coming up with products for the SQL Server can now download the SQL Server 2012 Developer Training Kit to get started.

The training kit arrives with technical content meant to offer developers the ground basics for coming up with SQL Server 2012 database and BI solutions.

The same as with most of the similar software from Microsoft, the new training kit packs demos and presentations that will offer info on what the development of said solutions is all about.

In the coming months, Microsoft will update the kit with new demos and labs, to cover more aspects of the development process.

“The SQL Server 2012 Developer Training Kit includes technical content including labs, demos and presentations designed to help you learn how to develop SQL Server 2012 database and BI solutions,” Microsoft explains.

“New and updated content will be released periodically and can be downloaded on-demand using the Web Installer,” the company also notes.

The new SQL Server 2012 Developer Training Kit was made available with support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 and requires .NET Framework 4.0 to be installed on the targeted machine.

Developers interested in what the Training Kit has to offer to them will be able to download only the labs, demos and presentations that are relevant to them.

In November last year, Microsoft made available for download the SQL Server 2012 RC0, complemented by the CTP4 flavor of its SQL Server Data Tools (formerly SQL Server Developer Tools).

The SQL Server 2012 Developer Training Kit can be downloaded from Softpedia as well, via this link.

You can download .NET Framework 4.0 from this page.
