Download SQL Server 2012 Codenamed Denali CTP3 Feature Pack

A collection of resources provided free of charge by Microsoft can be leveraged to enhance the latest testing release of SQL Server 2012 Codenamed Denali. Customers already running Microsoft’s data platform might already be familiar with the Feature Packs that the company is providing for SQL Server.

Just the past week, the software giant made available for download SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1) Feature Pack RTM, following the release of the upgrade.

Also the past week, early adopters received the bits for the third community technology preview of SQL Server 2012 codenamed Denali.

Concomitantly, Microsoft released the SQL Server 2012 Codenamed Denali CTP3 Feature Pack on its Download Center, where it’s still up for grabs free of charge.

“The Microsoft SQL Server code name 'Denali' CTP 3 Feature Pack is a collection of stand-alone packages which provide additional value for Microsoft SQL Server code name 'Denali' CTP 3. It includes the latest versions of:

•Tool and components for Microsoft SQL Server code name 'Denali CTP 3.

•Add-on providers for Microsoft SQL Server code name 'Denali' CTP 3,” Microsoft revealed.

Testers can visit the official download page for SQL Server 2012 Codenamed Denali CTP3 Feature Pack in order to access the complete list of all the components packed inside into the set of resources offered for the next major iteration of the company’s data platform.

As is the case with all testing releases from the software giant, early adopters will need to provide feedback to the company when running SQL Server 2012 Codenamed Denali CTP3 Feature Pack.

“Some components in the Microsoft SQL Server code name 'Denali' CTP 3 Feature Pack have certain Internet-enabled features, including the Customer Experience Improvement Program and Error and Usage Reporting component, enabled by default to help us identify and address issues that you may encounter while using SQL Server,” the company said.
