MeLLmo Inc. has launched Roambi 3.1.3, the latest version of its business app for interactive mobile analytics. The update marks the addition of Apple’s iPad 2 and iOS 4.3 as fully supported platforms.

According to the developers of Roambi, the updated app now lets users take full advantage of the enhanced video display capabilities on the iPad 2.

For example, Apple has confirmed during its March 2 press event that iPad 2 users can share their iPad display with dramatically improved performance on a big HDTV set, HD projection screen, or any other HDMI-friendly display, via a function called Video Mirroring.

Roambi takes advantage of that and can now output its interactive mobile dashboards on bigger screens.

In addition to supporting iPad 2 Video Mirroring and iOS 4.3, Roambi 3.1.3 also includes many bug fixes, MeLLmo said.

Roambi can transform reports and data into immersive, dashboard-style analytics by integrating with major business intelligence and reporting systems.

The software instantly delivers these to any iPhone or iPad and lets "always-on" professionals quickly access and analyze up-to-the-minute company information.

A solution capable of enabling smart, collaborative decision-making, the updated Roambi now targets companies big and small who wish to share their interactive analytics with larger groups, the makers said in a report today.

"In 2010 alone, the installed base for iPads reached well over 15 million, and millions of those are being used for business purposes," said Santiago Becerra, chairman and co-founder of MeLLmo, the developer of Roambi.

"With the release of iOS 4.3, Apple is further bridging the gap between the laptop and tablet with the ability to easily project and present business information from an iPad 2.”

“This latest update to the Roambi App provides our customers with an advantage in the workplace: the ability to present rich, interactive content that is more engaging than traditional ‘slide’ business presentations.”
