14 DAY TRIAL // Leading mobile software developer Resco announced recently the launch of a new version of its Photo Viewer for handsets running under the Symbian OS, namely the Resco Photo Viewer 6.00. According to the company, the new version of its popular photo viewer comes to the market with a series of minor improvements. Moreover, the company also notes that the new Resco Photo Viewer 6.00 for Symbian is available now via Nokia's Ovi Store, the global software solutions portal.
The new version of the application is being delivered with a fully touch optimized interface, as the company decided to make it compatible with handsets that sport touchscreen displays, and this includes the scrolling, navigation between images and other tools, like zoom, rotation, color adjustment, the company notes. Users of the Resco Photo Viewer will now be able to enjoy a set of new touch buttons within the software solution.
Among the main features of the application, we can count: - Fully Touch-Optimized The application is now fully touch optimized for Symbian devices with touch-screen technology. Additional buttons support the touch-handling (zoom with interactive zoom slider, send, color adjustment, delete, crop, slideshow, rotation and navigation buttons). For non touch-screen devices these buttons are not visible. - Interactive Work with Slideshow Users gain ability to move to the next image or set parameters such as music volume or slideshow speed during the slideshow itself. - Gesture for Navigation between Images Drag an image horizontally more than half of the screen to switch to the next/previous image. A transition effect appears. - New Crop Tools — 2 new crop options – crop to screen & save screen.
