14 DAY TRIAL // Well-known supplier of applications for handsets powered by Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system Resco announced recently the launch of a new flavor of its popular software solution Resco Contact Manager, namely version 2.05. According to the company, the application will offer users the possibility to simply manage their contacts, calls & SMS, not to mention that they can also add contacts from Facebook and chat with them.
Among the main improvements the new version of the application comes around with, we can count the Facebook integration, with a great focus on the log in procedure. The company says that it decided to change the way users log in to their account, mainly due to a wide range of issues in the area already being reported by developers. The new way of logging in is meant to offer flexibility and all changes will be solved via an online update, so that users won't have to reinstall the app again.
“Now we use a new way of the log in process using the Facebook API functions for mobile phones.” said Miloš Fec, software developer from Resco. “User will have to log in to his Facebook account only once and grant permissions, so next time he will be logged in faster, without the need to open the Facebook log in page again.”
The list of new features included in Resco Contact Manager 2.05 shows: - Improved Log in process to Facebook The new process will be more effective and flexible to changes made by Facebook developers. - Online Facebook service update The program checks the available updates each time you log in to Facebook. Any changes regarding the Facebook features (Facebook contacts, messaging, etc...) will be automatically integrated without the need to reinstall the program again. - Korean SMS support The application can now display the Korean SMS.
