Opera Mac Developer Adam Minchinton has just confirmed through his blog that Opera 11.01 Final is now available for download for all supported platforms, including Mac OS X. The release focuses on security and stability, according to Minchinton.

“We have just released Opera 11.01,” Minchinton writes, using his My Opera profile.

“This new release adds security fixes and stability improvements, along with some mouse gesture tweaking,” the Mac-savvy dev confirms.

A lengthy changelog is then provided on the official Opera web site.

The Norwegian software vendor has tweaked multiple core components of its popular web browser, starting with the interface, display and scripting, and ending with the social functions (mail, news, chat) alongside security.

Numerous fixes are listed in the release notes, which pretty much confirms the Final status of Opera 11.01.
