DICE has just released a brand new and impressive update for Battlefield 4 across the PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms, bringing general stability improvements, enhancements to the multiplayer netcode, but also tweaks to weapons, gadgets, or vehicles like the AC-130 gunship.

Battlefield 4 is a really popular first-person shooter, but quite a lot of fans have been spurned by the many different glitches, problems, or bugs that affect the game's single-player story campaign as well as its online multiplayer one.

Despite many different patches from developer DICE, some problems are still persisting, while new ones are popping up and affecting almost all players.

Now, a new update has just been rolled out for Battlefield 4 across specific platforms, namely the PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360.

As usual, various general enhancements are present, such as crash fixes, but also improvements to the multiplayer netcode, which should ensure that the online matches are fair and far less prone to glitches and other such things.

The update also brings Gold Battlepacks as rewards for Class Service Stars, allowing players to have reached the maximum rank to continue earning new bonuses.

All sorts of different improvements have been made to many weapons in the game, from the M4 and M16A4, to the G36C or the different grenade types. Vehicles, especially aircraft, have received some changes, including the AC-130 gunship that has seen an increase in splash damage from the JDAM bombs or from the 40mm cannons equipped on the plane.

Check out the general fixes and multiplayer enhancements below and head on over to the official Battlelog forums for all the tweaks.
