Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has just received two different updates today, April 2, on the PC and PS4 platforms all around the world, with all sorts of new improvements appearing for the popular first-person shooter.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare got its second major DLC expansion earlier this week, in the form of the Ascendance map pack on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms. Alongside the actual add-on, developer Sledgehammer Games released two updates for the same consoles, in order to make plenty of different improvements.

New patches are live on PC and PS4

Now, new updates are also available for the PC and PS4 versions of the game around the world. The patches bring forth quite a few of the improvements already received by Xbox One and Xbox 360 users, but also some platform-specific enhancements.

A variety of issues and exploits have been remedied by the new patch, whereas several weapons have seen enhancements in various ways, such as the OHM, the PDW, or the EM1.

The game's user interface has also received some new additions and fixes, as Advanced Supply Drops should always open on the right side of the screen, and not on the left. The Combat Record now displays Gun Game as a mode and shows off the medals earned in the experience. Various improvements to the map selection menu and the video options have also been made when it comes to the PC version.

Quite a few enhancements are included in the update for the Exo Zombies mode, which premiered on the PC and PS4 as part of the Havoc DLC in late February. Exploits that took players outside the map and made them invulnerable to zombies are remedied, whereas players will be able to join a match together while in a party.

The new updates are already live for the PC version of Advanced Warfare via the Steam service, and for the PS4 edition through the PlayStation Network.
