PlayStation 3 owners in North America can already download the story-based expansion due to the upcoming maintenance period.
Borderlands 2 came out in September and, since then, developer Gearbox has released plenty of different add-ons, including story-based DLC like the recent Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, but also other content, like the sixth playable character, Krieg.
Now, the fourth and final story expansion is out today, June 25, for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms.
While PC and Xbox 360 owners need to wait until later today, PS3 users in North America can download it right now, as their PlayStation Store will soon go down for maintenance.
According to the official forum post from Gearbox, European PS3 owners will still have to wait until tomorrow, June 26, to download the DLC.
