The new patch prepares the game for the launch of Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep DLC

Borderlands 2 has just received a brand new compatibility update on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms, which makes sure that the game won't encounter any issues after the release of the Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep DLC next week.

Borderlands 2 is set to receive its fourth and last story-based expansion next week, on June 25, in the form of Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep.

Ahead of the DLC's launch, developer Gearbox Software has confirmed on Facebook that a fresh Borderlands 2 compatibility update has just been released for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms.

The patch will be automatically downloaded the next time you start up the game and are connected to the Internet.

The update is specifically geared towards solving any potential issues that might appear after the Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep DLC is installed by owners of the game next week.
