NVIDIA didn't only release the GeForce Graphics Driver 285.79 Beta, but also the latest version of PhysX System software.

The version of PhysX is 9.11.1107 and makes a number of changes and bug fixes.

One resolved issue is that PhysX will not longer fail to tap into GPU acceleration on notebooks featuring the Optimus technology (which switches between the integrated Intel CPU graphics and the NVIDIA GPU).

As far as games go, Mafia 2 should have some bugs fixed, while many other games and demos should run GPU-accelerated PhysX without any issue now.

In fact, all GeForce 8-series, 9-series, 100-series, 200-series, 300-series, 400-series and 500-series GPUs accelerate PhysX properly now, provided they have at least 256MB of dedicated memory and 32 CUDA cores.
