New versions of Chrome are immediately available for all supported platforms, including Mac OS X, with multiple bug fixes for Dev channel testers, and an updated Flash player plugin for those running the Stable and Beta builds of the open-source browser.

Updated to 11.0.696.12 for Macintosh, Windows, Linux and Chrome Frame, the Dev release fixes a number of bugs affecting all platforms.

These include a crashing New York Times Chrome app, truncated Sync login dlg, status bar / target URL not shown when hovering over links, bookmark focus not getting out of the way when moved from the bookmark bar, and tooltips from browser tabs persisting for too long, to name some of the most important code corrections.

Other fixes address content settings updates not reflecting the current Incognito session, and NewTabPage not updating when a new theme is applied.

The latest Stable and Beta updates from Google indicate that Chrome 11 is soon to reach Beta status, at which point Chrome 12.0 will be made available for grabs through the Dev channel.

For those who are timid of running a development version of Chrome, new Stable and Beta builds were also released yesterday.

Both now at version 10.0.648.134 for Mac OS X, Windows, Linux and Chrome Frame, the releases contain an updated version of the Adobe Flash Player, Google’s Jason Kersey confirmed in a blog post.

Users of any version of the browser are encouraged to file a bug for any issues they may come across during their day-to-day browsing sessions.

Macintosh users are required Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard or later and an Intel-based machine to run Google’s WebKit-based web browser.

As usual, all versions of Chrome for Mac OS X (Stable, Beta, Dev) can be downloaded immediately via the link below.
