14 DAY TRIAL // Apple has released an update to its iPhoto application, addressing general compatibility, improving the stability of the software and, lastly, fixing issues in key areas of the program. iPhoto 8.0.3 is free to all users of Apple’s iLife suite of apps, which includes iPhoto, and is a highly recommended update.
In the Support section of its web site, Apple describes the iPhoto 8.0.3 update as follows.

“This update addresses installation options, general compatibility, and fixes for a number of issues involving Faces, Places, web publishing, and slideshows. The update is recommended to improve stability for all users of iPhoto 8.0, 8.0.1 and 8.0.2,” Apple says in the more detailed post.
For example, in Faces Apple addressed an issue that caused the boxes around detected faces to reappear after being deleted. According to the Mac maker’s findings, “this occurred when unwanted face boxes were deleted from a photo, but then missing faces were subsequently added manually or the Detect Missing Faces command was used on the photo.”
Available for Macs running OS X 10.5.6 or later with iLife installed, iPhoto 8.0.3 is 96MB is size, and supports languages including Deutsch, English, Français, Español, Italiano, Nederlands, Dansk, Norsk Bokmål, Polski, Português, Português Brasileiro, Pусский, Suomi, Svensk, Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
