14 DAY TRIAL // A new version of iMovie ‘11 is now available from Apple. The update is tasked with improving the overall stability of the movie-editing app, and fixes an issue with audio playback.
According to a note posted to Apple’s Support web site, the iMovie 9.0.2 update is recommended for all users of iMovie ‘11.

Posted January 20, 2011, iMovie 9.0.2 weighs in at 27.52 MB and requires Mac OS X version 10.6.3 or later. The update is a free download for existing users.
For new customers, iMovie 9.0.2 is available for download through Apple’s Mac App Store (for $14.99), where the company touts the software as being able to “turn ordinary home videos into captivating Hollywood-style trailers that are fun to watch and share.”
Supported languages include Deutsch, English, Français, Español, Italiano, Nederlands, Dansk, Norsk Bokmål, Polski, Português, Português Brasileiro, Pусский, Suomi, Svensk, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
Released last year with much fanfare, iMovie ‘11 (part of the iLife ‘11 suite) delivers key new features, including 15 movie trailer templates, each with its own original soundtrack and graphics; all-new audio editing with detailed, color-coded audio waveforms for all your clips;One-Step Effects, with nine visual effects with over a dozen variations; a People Finder feature, which automatically finds and labels all portions of your video that contain people’s faces; News and Sports themes which give your videos the look of a broadcast news show.
