14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has made a new iteration of its Security Intelligence Report available for download. The Microsoft Security Intelligence Report Volume 11 is available as a free download from the software giant, just as it was the case with previous such releases.
SIRv11 for short, this particular version of the report focuses on the threat landscape in the first half of 2011. Users can head over to the Microsoft Security Intelligence Report website in order to access additional information and to download the resources offered by the company.
“The report is huge and contains data from over 600 million systems worldwide, over 280 million Hotmail accounts, billions of pages scanned by Bing each day and more importantly the report provides prescriptive guidance to help protect against the bad guys,” revealed Vinny Gullotto, general manager, Microsoft Malware Protection Center.
