A new version of the Dolphin Browser Mini is now available for download for users of Android-based devices, aimed at solving some issues with the Adobe Flash Player 10.2. The new fix is meant mainly at devices that run under Google's Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system, and follows the release of a new version of the company's Dolphin HD browser with optimizations aimed at this mobile OS version.

“After Dolphin HD’s adding acceleration support for Android 3.0 device, Dolphin Browser Mini updates for Android 3.0 device, too," the company notes in a recent blog post.

"In this v2.0.1 beta, we fix a bug with Adobe Flash Player 10.2 in Dolphin Mini on Honeycomb device.”

For those out of the loop, we should note that Adobe released the latest version of Adobe Flash Player for mobile phones, namely 10.2, with support for more devices, including tablet PCs that run under the Android 3.0.1 platform.

While things would go well in most cases, a small issue emerged with the Dolphin Browser Mini on these devices, and users would be able only to hear the sound for the video, without seeing the corresponding images.

“But with our Dolphin Browser Mini, it gets a minor bug: while playing flash video with Adobe Flash Player in Dolphin Browser Mini, there are no flash frames but only sound. Thanks for your feedback, we finally figure it out and fix it,” the company notes.

“So with this new beta version, it won’t happen again. You could put your heart down to use Adobe Flash Player 10.2 with Dolphin Browser Mini v2.0.1 Beta now,” they continue.

The new version of the mobile application, Dolphin Browser Mini v2.0.1 Beta, is available for download from Softpedia too, via this link.

All Android users who have Dolphin Browser Mini installed on their devices should download the latest release to make sure that they benefit from a great flash playing experience.
