MoboTap is particularly proud to unveil the latest version of their flagship iPad app, Dolphin Browser 5.0, which adds the ability to save passwords and to auto-complete forms, much like AgileBits’ 1Password application.

MoboTap introduces the update with this opening statement: “Now you can say a Dolphin never forgets! Now Dolphin remembers your passwords and fills in search selections based on your past history. Just another couple of ways Dolphin is making mobile browsing even faster.”

Indeed, according to the release notes, users will no longer be required to input the same password information over and over again, as Dolphin will remember and save these for future reference.

Complementing the aforementioned function, Dolphin also now remembers your browsing history. The same goes for bookmarks and searches. This makes typing in the URL bar faster, more reliable, and hassle-free.

Dolphin Connect, the feature that makes it possible to sync your bookmarks across all your Dolphin devices, has received a “slick new redesign.”

There’s email integration now – “quickly share webpage URLs in your email.” Various stability and performance improvements have been incorporated in this update as well.

Dolphin is shaping up to be one of the best web browsers on the iPad, offering functions like Webzine, which simplifies the way you read your favorite news, blogs and websites, custom-gesture support to create a personal symbol to access the websites you use the most, Speed Dial (a feature borrowed from Opera’s web browser), tabs, sidebars, a bookmarks bar, and full screen mode.

Dolphin Browser for iPad is compatible only with the Apple iPad and requires iOS 4.0 or later. With Dolphin Sonar, iPhone owners can use their voice to search, share and navigate the mobile web, without typing a word.
