14 DAY TRIAL // Two new games for Windows Phone have just made their debut, namely Bullet Asylum and Chickens Can’t Fly (the latter will go live in a few hours).
People who don’t have a Windows Phone to take these games for a spin can still get a taste of the great visuals they have to offer via two new themes available for download on Windows 7.
BulletAsylum landed on Windows Phone as an insane arcade shooter, delivering a melding classic gameplay and great visuals. The game is now available for purchase featuring a price tag of $2.99.
Some of the action and the next-generation mechanics included in the game landed on Windows 7 via the aforementioned theme pack.
“Bullets. Explosions. Next-generation visuals. Get your Windows 7 desktop ready for the onslaught with this free Bullet Asylum theme,” Microsoft explains.
And there is also the Chickens Can't Fly theme, based on the new game from Microsoft Game Studios, set to become available for purchase on Windows Phone on February 15th at only $2.99.
In the game, you will have to conduct a variety of experiments to be able to answer to a series of questions regarding chickens’ life.
“See what chickens are capable of! Redecorate your desktop with this free Windows 7 theme, featuring wacky images—full of deadly obstacles and delicious corn—from the Xbox LIVE game,” the theme’s description reads.
Both themes are offered for free and are said to be compatible with all computers running under Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate editions.
However, the same as before, we should note that these themes can be installed on computers running under the Windows 8 Developer Preview as well. Those who installed the new OS on their machines can give them a try.
