Apple’s 10 billionth app has returned with yet another adventure - Paper Glider Para Drop, a new take at the paper plane game which tasks players with safely landing a ‘passenger’ onto a trampoline.

The adventure takes place in a city backyard. Players must jump a toy soldier from their glider, open its parachute just in the neck of time, and then use the wind to glide its way onto the drop zone.

As Paper Glider fans would expect, the game rewards points based on the accuracy of the touchdown.

The developer has included the ability to customize elements of the game, such as the parachute, or the garden itself. From the iTunes App Store description…:

PERSONALISE YOUR GARDEN Your garden starts off tatty, so upgrade it with cool new items! * Keep it tidy! Mow the lawn, plant some flowers or grow some trees * Sporty? Grab a football or push bike! Show off to the neighbours with a shimmering water feature! Be REAL cheeky with a clumsy garden gnome...

Players can also buy a different toy soldier. However, customization requires coins.

These can either be earned the hard way - by playing the game; or the easy way - simply buy them with an in-app purchase.

Commenting on the release, Oli Christie, CEO of Neon Play, said, "We're hopping with excitement at the latest installment to the Paper Glider franchise and Paper Glider Para Drop is a really fun little game, with lots of potential for customization and big scores.

“With more Paper Glider games coming soon and a big announcement as well, we look forward to building the IP further," Christie added.

Paper Glider Para Drop is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 3.0 or later and is available as a free download from the Games section in Apple’s App Store.
