Should bring all the expected, and some unexpected, benefits, especially in recent games

It appears that Advanced Micro Devices is ready to start delivering the newest WHQL-certified driver for its many graphics cards, mobile and desktop alike.

Some people already knew that the Sunnyvale, California-based company was meaning to release the 11.10 driver today, or around this time (October 31, 2011).

Apparently, this indeed happened, though the release notes are, alas, nowhere to be found at the moment.

Still, it isn't hard to guess that game frame rate improvements, at least, were enabled, especially in Battlefield 3 and other recent titles.

The software is available in four versions for desktops (Windows XP, XP64-bit, Vista/7, Vista/7 64-bit) as well as two laptop versions (AMD Catalyst Mobility 11.10 Win 7 / Vista, Windows 7 /Vista 64-bit).

Stay tuned for when AMD finally provides all relevant information about this newest driver.
