Agile Web Solutions has updated its password manager and form filler for Mac OS X, 1Password. 1Password is designed to remember all the online passwords that you insert on any web page or form, anytime, by using one single (master) password.

According to the changelog, Agile Web Solutions has added a 1Password menu item to the iCal browser, as well as support for keyboard shortcuts and 1Password menu item to Fluid browsers. Other changes include improved built-in documentation; improved average Agile Keychain load time; now displaying 'Fill Last Generated Password' when it does not match passwords in the saved logins.

Two bug fixes apparently also made their way into the latest (beta) release of 1Password. The developer allegedly fixed problems with deleting items in Trash that could occur when syncing Agile Keychain using the Dropbox service. Also, Agile Web Solutions fixed a Firefox error that could occur on sites with Framesets.

1Password integrates directly into most browsers, and sports built-in, anti-phishing and keylogger protection. Mac owners can easily manage hundreds of passwords with one key. It supports Firefox, Camino, OmniWeb, DEVONagent, NetNewsWire, and of course, Apple's own Safari. Opera, unfortunately, isn't supported. An iPhone version of the app is also available for download via the iTunes App Store.

1Password starts at $39.95 - Single User license. A Family license costs $59.95. 1Password is licensed on a per-person basis (a single license can be used by one person on as many Macs as they can afford), in order to reduce 1Password's total cost of ownership. It is a Universal application, suitable for both Intel-based Macs, and PowerPC machines.
