DosPara, a Japanese PC maker specialized in high-end gaming desktop and notebooks is also looking to penetrate the tablet market, so it has launched the Diginnos DG-D07S/GP model.

Apparently, this a Google Play certified tablet which runs Android 4.2 out of the box and packs some mid-range specks on the inside.

The Diginnos has a 7-inch screen with a 1280 x 800 5-point capacitive multi-touch display and draws power from a 1.2GHz Rockchip RK3168 Cortex-A9 dual-core processor combined with 1GB of RAM and PowerVR SGX540 GPU plus 8GB of internal storage (expandable to 32GB via microSD).

The tablet offers two average cameras (2MP on the back and 0.3MP in front), mini HDMI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, built-in speaker and a 3000 mAh battery.

In terms of looks, the Diginnos gives off Nexus 7 vibes, so if for some reason you don’t want to pick the Google tablet up, you might want to give this model a chance.

In Japan, the slate will sell for approximately $125 / €96.
