Donald Trump’s comb-over is almost as famous as The Donald himself, having generated countless of jokes and speculation over the years. As it happens, it’s not really a comb-over and it’s not really that much of fascinating topic, Trump says.

For years, there’s been this joke about how Donald doesn’t have a hairline, which is why he always makes sure to comb over his hair to cover his forehead.

He made sure he put that rumor to rest precisely one year ago. Now, it’s time for another hair-related revelation: the comb-over is not really a comb-over.

Speaking with Rolling Stone magazine (quotes via the Daily Mail), The Donald says a funky ‘do like his takes plenty of time and care – and, admittedly, lots of Head and Shoulders shampoo.

“Okay, what I do is wash it with Head and Shoulders. I don’t dry it, though. I let it dry by itself. It takes about an hour,” he says.

Of course, he must know that blowdrying it would cause damage to the hair, so he’s going for the tousled look by letting it dry on its own.

But there’s more. It would seem all we’ve known / guessed about Trump’s hair was wrong.

“Do I comb it forward? No, I don’t comb it forward. It’s sort of a little bit forward and back. I’ve combed it the same way for years. Same thing, every time,” the real estate mogul and television star reveals.

At the end of the day, Donald’s ‘do has nothing to do with comb-overs.

“I get a lot of credit for comb-overs. But it’s not really a comb-over,” he says.

Just like in May 2010, Trump seems to be saying that, despite his love for the odd-looking hairdo, he is not going bald and he is definitely not choosing this style to cover patches with thinning hair.
