A new version of Dolphin Browser HD is now available for download for Android-powered devices, namely version 7.3.1, which is only a beta flavor of the software.

The new software update brings along a series of enhancements to Add-ons, as well as some changes to the sensitivity on the Sidebars.

Dolphin Browser is one of the most popular applications on devices powered by Google’s Android operating system, and the new update is meant to show the team’s dedication for offering new features and capabilities to its users.

The new beta release of the mobile browser comes with five add-ons preloaded straight to the Toolbar. The list includes:

- Dolphin Companion - Save your phone’s battery life with 3 battery-optimizing profiles for faster and more secure browsing.

- Web to PDF - Save Web pages as high quality PDF files. Access them anytime online or offline.

- Dolphin Screen Cut - Capture a screenshot of an entire webpage or just a part for later viewing and sharing.

- Dolphin Translate - Let Dolphin (and Google) translate a webpage, desired sentence or word into any of 58 languages without leaving the page.

- Shiny Shake Dolphin - Shake your phone to switch between 4 colors themes or open website tabs on Dolphin Browser.

The team also notes that due to the fact that users complained of increased sensitivity on some smartphones, they have modified it on the Sidebars. Moreover, the sensitivity was not as intended on tablets either.

“But now with v7.3.1 BETA, we changed the sliding scale and added indicating arrows to make it just right,” the Dolphin Browser team explains.

The new version of the Android Browser is now available for download from Softpedia via this link. Those who will give it a try should provide feedback on the experience, so that more improvements could be included into the mix, the development team notes.
