14 DAY TRIAL // A new beta version of Dolphin Browser HD v5.0 is now available for download for Android users who are fond of this mobile browser, namely beta4, which arrives in preparation for the final release of the application. The new flavor of the popular browser arrives on devices with a series of fixes meant to ensure that users would benefit from a great experience from the application.
However, Dolphin Browser HD v5.0 beta4 does not come with changes in the app's interface, nor with other major enhancements, the company announced.
The changelog for the new Dolphin Browser HD beta release includes:
- Fail to set homepage; - Clear History unsuccessfully while exiting browser; - Search suggestion cannot work even if it has been enabled; - Custom User Agent unsuccessfully
Hopefully, the new Dolphin Browser HD v5.0 beta4 flavor of the application would indeed be the last beta release before the availability of the final version in the Android Market.
Beta 3 should have marked the end of the beta period, as the development team notes: “As we have been saying that Dolphin Browser HD v5.0 is a big change to us, we sincerely hope that we can make it better and even better.
“So before we can be 100% percent sure that it could be release to Android Market, we decide to release another beta version before the official release on Android Market. Hope you can understand us.”
Moreover, they explain that Dolphin Browser HD will land on devices with support for 16 languages: German, Japanese, French, Italian, Russian, French, Czech, Polish, Korean, Danish, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and the newly added Dutch and Greek.
Dolphin Browser HD v5.0 beta4 also comes with updated add-ons: Dolphin Read Later, Read it Later and Morning Coffee, which add to the update add-ons in beta3.
