Dolphin Browser HD, the premium product developed by the Dolphin team has just been updated to v4.5 Beta. The new update brings lots of minor improvements, as well as several major changes that will enhance the user's browsing experience.

One of the most popular web browsers for the Android platform, Dolphin Browser HD is the first to support multi-touch pinch zoom and one of the few featuring Gesture commander.

Dolphin Browser HD is also the first mobile browser with support add-ons. Feature-wise, the application targets advanced users, but also those that like adding new options to make their browsing experience faster, better and more enjoyable.

The software takes full use of the Android 2.1 (Eclair) and 2.2 (Froyo) platforms to provide users with the possibility to customize their browser to the core.

In terms of performance, it's already a common fact that Dolphin Browser HD outmatches the default Android browser.

The latest version of the browser is still in beta stage, so additional features and/or improvements will be available in the final version.

Dolphin Browser HD v4.5 Beta changelog is detailed below:

According to the developer, in the final release of Dolphin Browser HD v4.5, it will be possible to use the Select text feature together with Dolphin Translate add-on.
