This year's NSCA Expo brings again an exceptional moment courtesy of the Dolby Laboratories: the Dolby lake Processor Training, held Wednesday, March 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Orlando International Drive Resort.

From generic presentations to in-depth descriptions of principles and operation, this training is a great opportunity for sound technicians to improve their knowledge in the domain of Dolby processing.

Miguel Hadelich - Dolby Live Sound Applications Engineer - will be the spokesman and head of the training sessions: the morning stage will cover hardware specs of the Lake Processor as well as front panel-editing and wireless control system while the afternoon assembly will treat the LakeController software, the new KIT989 CobraNet Card, Linear Phase Crossovers, Raised Cosine EQ and Limiter Max. The afternoon will also be the time for previewing some oncoming innovative applications.

According to Mr. E. Grinberg, Dolby Live Sound's Marketing and Sales Manager, "Mr. Hadelich knows the Dolby Lake Processor inside and out. The more hands-on experience a user can get with this processor the more they will understand just how powerful and easy it is to use. This training seminar is an excellent opportunity to get the lowdown on this very successful loudspeaker processor." Hence the awesome value of attending this seminar: you don't just get the opportunity to hear some Dolby-trained guy about the hi-tech you're about to get acquainted to and use, but you'll actually get the chance to have things showcased and explained by one of Dolby's best engineers.

The full-day cost for this training is $350 and the attendants will also receive a copy of the Dolby Lake Controller SmaartLive plug-in worth of $250. Further details are to be found on the Dolby webpage or by contacting Mr. Ervin Grinberg.
