14 DAY TRIAL // Ubisoft announced that it has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with MTO to distribute Dogz, the first puppy simulation game to be available exclusively for Nintendo's Game Boy Advance. Ubisoft will distribute Dogz worldwide, with the exception of Japan, in November of this year.
Dogz is a pet simulation game that lets owners name, train and play with a realistic puppy. Players create and control a main character and choose one of 49 different dogs from 18 different breeds. As characters in the game, owners can take their puppies everywhere within the virtual environment, from through the house to around the neighborhood to visit friends.
Gamers will earn their puppy's love and loyalty by remembering to feed and groom it and reward it when it does things correctly. Owners can train the puppy to lie down, shake, fetch and perform many other tricks.
"Ubisoft is pleased to bring such a unique puppy simulation game to the millions of Game Boy Advance owners around the world," said Tony Kee, vice president of marketing at Ubisoft. "We are confident that players will enjoy caring for and watching their puppies grow, and we have a significant television campaign in place to get the word out about this extremely fun and rewarding game."
Some game features: - Three Mini-games Available: Run Puppy Run!, Puppy Reversi and Puppy Quiz, with a cuddly new companion. - Visiting Mode: By linking two Game Boy Advance systems, players can send their puppy off to a friend's house. - Always Together Mode: After players complete the game, up to three puppies' data are saved through an included backup feature. When players go to Always Together Mode, they will be able to load one of their previous puppies' data and play with it anytime.
