14 DAY TRIAL // A Jack Russell terrier named Jack recently had to undergo emergency surgery following his swallowing a total of 111 pennies. According to his owner, Tim Keller, the pooch most likely ate the coins while feasting on the leftovers of a bagel.
Still, Tim Keller claims that he never saw the Jack Russell terrier gulping down the 111 pennies, otherwise he would have taken immediate action.
Sources report that, not long after ingesting these coins, the dog began feeling ill and vomiting. At that point, his owner decided that it would be best to take him to a veterinarian clinic in Manhattan.
Once there, 13-year-old Jack was admitted for emergency surgery, and all of the 111 pennies were removed from its digestive tract.
By the looks of it, the pooch is now feeling better and odds are he will soon make a full recovery.
