A man has been arrested for murder in California after his dogs viciously attacked and killed a senior out on a jog.

The owner will be charged with possession of drugs with intent to sell, negligence and felony murder, Daily Mail writes.

Police found eight dogs in the home of 29-year-old Alex Jackson of Antelope Valley. Marijuana was also being grown at the residence, reports say.

Authorities performed DNA testing on the remains of 63-year-old Pamela Devitt and confirmed that the dogs belonged to Jackson.

As I noted earlier this month, Devitt was mauled in the street and she was found when a motorist called 911.

According to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lt. John Corina, police found her scalped, with one arm missing and with some 200 bite marks on her body.
