Several students at the TNT Primary School from Claiborne County Tennessee are now trying to raise money to treat one dog's broken leg.

By the looks of it, the pooch somehow wandered off into these students' playground and, as soon as they realized that she was injured, the kids took the animal under their care. Sources say that the dog was taken to the Claiborne County Animal Shelter, where it was discovered that she had somehow broken her leg. Although nobody can say for sure, it appears that the dog got hit by a car.

“When the kids said they wanted to raise the money, we went ahead and based on that, scheduled her an appointment this afternoon to go to the vet in Knoxville and get her leg fixed,” Claiborne County Animal Shelter Director Liza Martz told members of the press.

The costs needed to treat the dog, now named TNT, amount to $400 (roughly €306).
