Only recently, a dog lost its life after rescuing its owner. The incident happened in Kazakhstan, where a man wanted to commit suicide, drank a whole bottle of vodka and then went to take a nap on train tracks.

Luckily for him, his canine companion understood the risk, grabbed him by his feet and pulled him out of the way of an oncoming train. However, it seems that the animal focused a bit too much on its owner and forgot to look after itself.

Thus, the train ended up hitting the dog instead of the man, and killed it in the blink of an eye.

Sources explain how one of the people who witnessed the event told members of the press that, “Upon seeing the train, the dog started pulling its owner away. When train drivers saw the dog on the rail tracks, they used the emergency brake.”

However, there simply wasn't enough time to save the dog’s life.
