Rumor Reporter posted something quite interesting, probably trying to keep its name in the category of "you are what you are". One of Rumor's reporters who consequently repeats his actions and goes and does it again and again brought vital information concerning the fate of thePS3's once to be one of the high profile titles, "Warhawk". They claimed an inside source, working on a game for PlayStation3, said the game isn't in the works anymore, having been abandoned by some of its programmers.

Then they said something about the game being available only for download in PlayStation Store, not having a multiplayer mode and falling short on missions. Little after trying to merely suggest that the game in discussion was "Warhawk", Rumor Reporter finally shouted out loud it was in fact the one which is being put under the question mark, but then removed the statement.

Still, there is reason to believe some part of the story: "Warhawk's" was in fact an important addition to the high-profile-titles, yet when the PS3's launch titles were made public, Warhawk's name wasn't on it.

David Jaffe, co-creator of Twisted Metal series with Incognito claims that "Warhawk's" fate is not one of concern and that the game is merely going through a faze called "the creative process", faze which many big titles have experienced.

Sony's answer to all of this was: "The rumors are false. We're still in development with the same team at Incognito and we're excited to show the progress of the game to media within the next month or so. At the same time, we'll be able to confirm an updated release date, too."

The answer is surely somewhere in between as none of the parts are perfectly right nor wrong.
