14 DAY TRIAL // The development team working on Disney Infinity announces that it is currently getting ready to launch a number of new characters in time for the holiday season, giving players an even wider array of options for the Toy Box mode.
The additions include:
- Wreck-It Ralph from the movie with the same name – uses the classic 8 bit look and can use both his powerful hands and special cherry bombs in order to take out his enemies;
- Rapunzel from Tangled – a powerful princess who uses her long hair and her frying pan to navigate the game world in new and interesting ways;
- Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph – the lovable Sugar Rush racer will use her Glitch power to teleport across short distances, getting past obstacles and freezing all the enemies that touch her.
At the same time, gamers can also pick up a special Frozen Toy Box Back that will include Anna, Elsa and two hexagonal power discs, allowing gamers to use a grappling hook and magical ice abilities in the game world.
According to AllGamesBeta, Disney Infinity is also launching a total of other 20 power discs on all major markets, including new rare version of some of the content gamers already have access to.
Disney Infinity is designed to mix real-world toys based on the best known characters of the company with an open virtual world that can be explored at will.
The development team is at the moment adding more characters in order to make sure that all fans have a favorite when they launch the title and can guide him through a wide array of adventures.
Disney has said that it has long-term plan for the concept and that it will also add content based on Star Wars, probably connected to the new movies created by J.J. Abrams, and on the Marvel comic book universe.
