Warner Bros. planned to have the first trailer for “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice” out in IMAX theaters at first, and only then online. The release was an event in and of itself, to which only a few lucky fans from the US could attend, scheduled for April 20.

The trailer leaked 4 days earlier, with Warners releasing it online 24 hours later. Still, director Zack Snyder, who also helmed the previous “Man of Steel,” wants to thank those fans who still showed up by treating them to a better look at Batman’s Batsuit in the film.

You can see it both in the photo attached to this post and in the tweet below. As a side note, fans also got tickets for advance screenings of the film ahead of the official premiere, and the 2 character posters created especially for this event. The trailer screened for them included 3 more seconds of the scene in which Batman and Superman charge towards each other, right at the end of the trailer.

This new look at the Batsuit is a much welcome bonus, though. It’s a better, larger shot of the image included in the trailer, right after Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne, looking brooding as heck, is introduced.

On the downside, this photo is confirmation that any actor could have filled the Batsuit, as long as it had the right height. Costume creators basically built it with incorporated muscles, so Affleck could have probably gotten away with not bulking up at all.

“BvS” also stars Henry Cavill, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot and Amy Adams. It will open in theaters in March 2016.
