A complete dinosaur skeleton measuring about 17 meters (55.8 feet) in length is to be auctioned off in the UK this coming November 27.

Summers Place Auctions, of Billingshurst, West Sussex, says that, all things considered, the dinosaur skeleton will fetch about £600,000 (€708,040 / $963,258).

Needless to say, chances are that it will be bought either by a celebrity, or by a museum. Unless your average Joe or Jane decides that they have a truck full of money to spare and also bids on the skeleton.

“There are quite a lot of emerging museums in the Far East, particularly in China, who may be interested. I think there might be some private buyers who may wish to put in a bid,” natural history expert Errol Fuller told the press.

“It would be a wonderful thing if you were a real rich person who could build a big outhouse for it,” he added.

Daily Mail tells us that the dino goes by the name Misty. Its remains were discovered close to the Dana quarry in Wyoming, US, and belong to a female Diplodocus that walked the Earth about 150 million years ago.
