14 DAY TRIAL // Dina Lohan might have made a fool of herself on Dr. Phil because of the interview that aired this Monday, but at least she’ll find some consolation in the fact that she was paid for it. Her ex-husband, Michael Lohan, doesn’t even have that.
Dr. Phil hit ratings gold with the most recent episode of his show, which featured an interview with Lindsay Lohan’s mother, taped some time ago.
In it, Dr. Phil states that the only reason he’s agreed to it is because Lohan’s camp reached out and asked to do it to set the record straight on who she really is. It was also supposed to shed some light on the years of physical domestic abuse she endured.
Instead, it turned into the laughing stock of the town, because it showed a Dina apparently under the influence, barely able to formulate a sentence, slurring her words, giggling and weeping uncontrollably and, most importantly, dodging most questions.
At least she got paid for it, Michael Lohan tells Radar Online.
As we also informed you at the time, Michael too was featured in the interview with a bit of Q&A, speaking via satellite.
“I got absolutely NOTHING,” Michael says for the celebrity e-zine.
“It’s the first question Dr. Phil asked me but they cut that out. Dina DID get $50,000 [€38,249] and that’s why they were [upset] that she didn’t give them the interview they wanted,” Dina’s ex further claims.
Indeed, Dr. Phil did seem quite offended that Dina would keep dodging his questions and act “phony” throughout the whole thing, when she was the one to actually suggest doing the interview in the first place.
Moreover, Michael believes that Dina will lie about the money she made with the interview, both to the press and to her own children. It’s the latter that most upsets Michael, he claims.
“[She’ll spend it] having another party. And telling the kids (mostly Lindsay) that she’s broke,” he tells Radar.
