Bundled with the 3D Vision kit and three monitors

Yesterday, NVIDIA finally released the beta version of its driver that enables support for the 3D Vision Surround technology. Immediately after this software came out, Cyberpower stepped up and unveiled multiple systems with support for it. Later, even iBuyPower broke the silence and brought out the Gamer Paladin F890 3D. Now, Digital Storm has come forth, eager so as not to lag behind its rivals, and has shown off its own solution, the so-called Special|OPS.

The Special|Ops, as some users may know, has been in existence for quite a while. What its maker did now was outfit it with all the necessary components for 3D Vision Surround and bundle it with the 3D Vision software+glasses kit, as well as three monitors. The exact displays offered are three Acer GD235HZ 23-inch models, obviously with refresh rates of 120Hz. With this, end-users will have all they need to enjoy 3D gaming over three screens at the same time.

That said, the basic insides of the PC itself are somewhat less shockingly high-end as those of the other beasts released so far, though end-users can choose otherwise. An Intel Core i7-930 CPU lies at the heart of it all, coupled with 6GB of RAM and a pair of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 video adapters in SLI. Additionally, the PC comes with a hard disk drive of 500GB and a DVD writer. This is only the base form though. The creature can actually go as high as 12GB of RAM and even uses the hexa-core Intel Core i7-980X Extreme Edition.

Digital Storm left the task of keeping all devices fueled to a power supply of 750W, though users can choose to replace it by one of up to 1500W if the need arises. Enthusiasts interested in the monster, and have $3481 or more to spare, can configure their own system by visiting this page.
