It took a while for the driver to be finalized, but NVIDIA did, with some delays, manage to provide software support for 3D Vision Surround on its more powerful GeForce Series cards. This technology allows a SLI multi-GPU setup to display videos or games in 3D over three monitors. Digital Storm was quick in revealing a version of the Special|Ops system that supported this capability. Now, it has expanded its offer with a new iteration of the Black|Ops gaming rig.

At the heart of the machine can lay either an Intel Core i5 or Core i7 central processing unit, or a Phenom II CPU from Advanced Micro Devices. The CPU of choice is backed up by up to 12GB of RAM and up to 6TB of storage space. Needless to say, at least a pair of NVIDIA cards are present, and the list includes not just a previous-generation GTS 250 duo, but also the possibility of putting in up to four GTX 480 models. Needless to say, in the latter case, a very powerful PSU will be needed. Finally, to turn its machine into a complete solution, Digital Storm bundled the desktop with the 3D Vision kit and three 23-inch ASUS VG236H monitors.

"The total immersion one experiences when gaming on a multi-screen 3D system is the most remarkable gaming experience, words do it no justice," commented Rajeev Kuruppu, Digital Storm's Director of Product Development.

"For first-person shooters and strategy games, multi-screen 3D gives gamers a Pentagon-grade gaming experience that is vastly superior to anything else on the market. 3D technology represents the future of gaming and Black|OPS systems are the perfect platform to experience it on," he added.

The company has already set its new PC up for order and end-users need only visit the official website to get better acquainted with the entire series of 3D-capable products.
